In 2011-2012 Katinka Polderman and Laurens Joensen had a quest to explore the Zeeland identity, the province I was born. In this episode Katinka and Laurens are exploring Tholen today. They are being guided by me, since I was born and raised in Tholen. I take them to the places that were significant to me: the football field of De Tholense Boys, my first piano teacher Sarien Bout, and the Ichtus Church, where I attended services for 19 years (!). The central question in this episode: Is the place where you grew up decisive for your musical development?
