This trio consists of Martin Fondse, saxophone player Kika Sprangers and cello player Jörg Brinkmann. This remarkable combination of three composers and performers travel many musical roads. The result is a colorful collaboration with lyrical and melancholic melodies and vibrating grooves.

In January 2020, Kika Sprangers (saxophones), Martin Fondse (piano & keys, vibrandoneon), and Jörg Brinkmann (cello, electronics) recorded fourteen instrumental pieces at Splendor Amsterdam.

Lumen serves as their blueprint for exploring new paths in modern music, an album rich in themes.

This remarkable collaboration of three composers and performers – rooted in European jazz and chamber music – traverses many musical landscapes. The result is a vibrant partnership filled with lyrical and melancholic melodies, characterized by a minimalist and cinematic atmosphere.
