Tomorrow Eyes: A Musical Journey Through Time

Tomorrow Eyes is a composition rooted in the architecture of one of my earlier works, Maria. Like its predecessor, Tomorrow Eyes is a multi-faceted creation (you can explore its dedicated page on this website), and it gained new life when harpist Remy van Kesteren chose it as the title track of his debut album with Deutsche Grammophon.

Remy was so captivated by Maria that he decided to take it a step further, writing lyrics for the piece. He then invited singer-songwriter Michael Prins to bring those lyrics to life, and thus, Tomorrow Eyes was born.

Here, you’ll discover several interpretations of Tomorrow Eyes, each with unique arrangements and lineups. Some songs become lifelong companions, evolving and transforming with you throughout your career.

As the saying goes: Panta Rhei – everything flows.

Bridge to Liberation Experience 2016: Remy van Kesteren & Michael Prins with Het Gelders Orkest.

The Bridge to Liberation Foundation has set itself the goal of reflecting on the impact of the Battle of Arnhem in a new way, with a broad audience. Learning from this and translating lessons to now and the future increases the relevance of the impact of war and the value of freedom for generations to come.
