A Night to Remember!
One of my most cherished memories: Gregory Porter performing with the Metropole Orkest at Paradiso, Amsterdam, December 2012. It was a sold-out concert during a pivotal week when the orchestra had to fight for its very existence in the Dutch Parliament. Against all odds, their efforts paid off! Can you imagine the relief and wave of emotions when that decision came through?
This incredible performance was infused with all that positive energy—it was truly magical. I was honored to contribute to the project with two arrangements: Be Good and Imitation of Life.
Gregory’s voice and presence were the perfect remedy for that unforgettable night.
